Online Yoga Nidra Classes

Dates: November 3rd, 8th, 10th, 15th, 17th, 22nd, 24th & 29th.

Time: 18:30 (London) 19:30 (Berlin) 20:30 (Athens)

Classes will be approximately 60-70mins

You will need a quiet space to yourself where you can lay on your back. (it’s possible to sit up against a wall or in a chair if you are unable to laydown).

No experience is necessary, I will guide you through the whole thing. 

 We will not be doing any physical movement in this class. Just sitting and/or laying down.

If you want to join and have your camera off, you are welcome, but I invite you to sit in a circle and community with each other and share this time so we can feel connection and togetherness in these uncertain times.

You might want to have ready:

a pillow for under your head

a blanket to put over you

a mat or duvet to lay on

an eye pillow or clean sock to cover your eyes

headphones to listen through if you think it’s needed

I have an honesty policy for my classes and expect that people pay what they truly can.

This has been the case for my classes since 2017 and has always worked and balanced out. I love how open honest and generous my community are!

The reason there is a sliding scale is because it allows me to invite participants who can truly not afford it and give access to all.

I ask that you pay full price if you have the means to do so. Please consider your social location, income and priviledges when deciding how much to offer.

What is it?

Yoga Nidra is a systematic form of relaxation also known as dynamic sleep. Specialised relaxation exercises, breathing techniques, meditation and guided imagery are utilised to help you become extremely relaxed and replenish your energy. Yoga Nidra is a proven antidote to anxiety and has been adopted by veterans, recovering addicts, as well as the normal stressed-out person.

You will learn how to experience deep-state relaxation in these weekly drop-in classes using the practice of Yoga Nidra (deep-dynamic sleep).

Why?

Today more and more people turn to food, cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, Netflix and other activities hoping for relief, but these activities don’t get to the root of the problem or bring any long-term relief. Chronic stress and tension results in many problems including: disrupted sleep, feelings of despair and anxiety, frustration and tension in our relationships, a lack of clarity and focus in our work life and the list goes on.

If you can relate to any of these things, or just want to chill, then this course is for you. This is a course in relaxation where I teach you how to lie in stillness and experience Yoga Nidra.

 

 

What do we learn?

How to take the body from a busy state to a resting state
How to access a state of relaxation allowing the body to decompress, recover and recharge
How to use your breath to calm and soothe yourself

What else?

You don’t need any experience, just a willingness to try something new.

No yoga pants, no chaturangas, no sweat and burning thighs….this is about finding your inner calm.

About Kelley

Kelley fell in love with Yoga Nidra at a ‘Yoga and Mindfulness for Addictions’ training with the Minded Institute in London. Since then she’s made it a part of her daily practice and in 2019 completed her Yoga Nidra Facilitator training with the Yoga Nidra Network. She now offers regular, live Nidras in Berlin and designs bespoke Nidras for individuals. Kelley is friendly, light hearted and her classes are often filled with giggles. Her intention is to serve as many people as possible with the restorative practice of Nidra, seeing it as a remedy for this fast-paced life of constant push and pull that often leaves us depleted and burn-out. Every class she offers is made with love and offered with gratitude to those who wish to join her.
