Body Blitz Fitness Class @ Tai Chi Neukölln

We make fitness fun and we listen to awesome music.

A combination of interval training and body-weight strength training.

We warm up the body then jump, twist, leap, bounce, squat and wiggle to get the heart beat pumping.
(lo-impact alternatives available for people with knee problems).

Then we plank, press up, shoulder tap, crunch, and do hard-core core moves. Alternatives available for beginner to advanced.

Designed to make you feel stronger, energised and leaving with a smile 🙂

Stretching Class with Music @ Tai Chi Neukölln

We stretch out the body, focusing on hips, hamstrings, quads and legs and listen to awesome music.

Perfect for beginners, office workers and anyone who feels a bit tight, but totally suitable for the more flexible experienced yogi or bendy cat – there are alternatives available for everyone 🙂

This is a slow paced class taking inspiration from dynamic and static stretching and yoga. We will find tight places, stretch them out, roll the pelvis, touch our muscles and massage the body with movement.

It is not a yoga class but you might find some similarities. It is an exploration of your body and learning how to find the edge of your comfort and then sit there a little bit to unlock tension, loosen the muscles and develop more mobility and flexibility.

Bring a jumper and some warm socks 🙂

Designed to make you happy and bendy like a cat.

The early morning sun, the fresh mind and day about to unfold ahead of us – mornings are beautiful…

come and roll out the fuzz, warm up the body, invigorate the system and move your body in the sun, on the grass.

We start on the mat with a mindful exploration of the body, moving through flowing movement sequences, building ourselves up to steadily held balancing postures, working with the breath throughout. We end with a short yoga nidra to get your mind ready for the day ahead.

Start as you mean to go on 🙂

Suitable for beginners and seasoned movers alike.

Classes are relaxed, light-hearted, accessible and done with a smile.

The Big Chill – Rest, Release & Recover with Yoga Nidra @ Bija Yoga Berlin

Today more and more people turn to food, cigarettes, alcohol, drugs, Netflix and other activities hoping for relief, but these activities don’t get to the root of the problem or bring any long-term relief. Chronic stress and tension results in many problems including: disrupted sleep, feelings of despair and anxiety, frustration and tension in our relationships, a lack of clarity and focus in our work life and the list goes on.

If you can relate to any of these things, or just want to chill, then this course is for you. This is a course in relaxation where I teach you how to lie in stillness and experience Yoga Nidra.

Yoga Nidra is a systematic form of relaxation also known as dynamic sleep. Specialised relaxation exercises, breathing techniques, meditation and guided imagery are utilised to help you become extremely relaxed and replenish your energy. Yoga Nidra is a proven antidote to anxiety and has been adopted by veterans, recovering addicts, as well as the normal stressed-out person.

Let go of the day, let go of your tension…

You will learn how to experience deep-state relaxation in this 4 -week course using the practice of Yoga Nidra (deep-dynamic sleep).

Each session has:
a Mindfulness and/or breathing practice
a short free-flow movement sequence to loosen up the body after a long day
a Yoga Nidra session where I’ll teach you to lie in stillness

You will learn experientially how to:
take the body from a busy state to a resting state
access a state of relaxation allowing the body to decompress, recover and recharge
use your breath to calm and soothe yourself

You don’t need any experience, just a willingness to try something new.

No yoga pants, no chaturangas, no sweat and burning thighs….this is about finding your inner calm.

Come and give yourself the change to rest, recover and relax.

Total cost for all 4 weeks is €50-70 depending on income
