Booty Burner : Waves Rolls and Circles @ Tai Chi Neukölln

A fun fitness class – set to booty bouncing, twerky tunes.

This isn’t a dance class – we learn no routines and no experience is required.

We warm up, roll out the body, squat, pulse, wiggle, swing our hips, pop the chest, shimmy and jiggle to awesome music – taking inspiration from dancehall, reggaeton and belly dance.

If you want to wear tassle shorts, shimmy skirts or even a thong tha thong thong thong, you’re welcome. We can close the curtains and no one will judge you.

It is fun, light-hearted, silly and…possible slightly intense – expect jumping, bouncing, popping, tick-tocking, twerking and more.

We will stretch out at the end.

* Remember, it’s a fun fitness class and we do it to workout and have fun – if you want to learn dance routines, I cannot help you – but you are welcome to show us some moves if you already have them 🙂

Body Blitz @ Tai Chi Neukölln

A combination of interval training and body-weight strength training.

We make fitness fun and we listen to awesome music.

We warm up the body then jump, twist, leap, bounce, squat and wiggle to get the heart beat pumping.

(lo-impact alternatives available for people with knee problems).

Then we plank, press up, shoulder tap, crunch, and do  hard-core core moves. Alternatives available for beginner to advanced.

Designed to make you feel stronger, energised and leaving with a smile.

We listen to music, you are encouraged to work hard and push your limits, but are welcome to take it easy 🙂

Suitable for all levels – no experience necessary.

Ideally done bare foot or in trainers. Sports bra useful as we will be jumping around.

Bring water and towel.

We stretch out the body, focusing on hips, hamstrings, quads and legs and listen to awesome music.

 

Perfect for beginners, office workers and anyone who feels a bit tight, but totally suitable for the more flexible experienced yogi or bendy cat – there are alternatives available for everyone 🙂

 

This is a slow paced class taking inspiration from dynamic and static stretching and yoga. We will find tight places, stretch them out, roll the pelvis, touch our muscles and massage the body with movement.

 

It is not a yoga class but you might find some similarities. It is an exploration of your body and learning how to find the edge of your comfort and then sit there a little bit to unlock tension, loosen the muscles and develop more mobility and flexibility.

 

Bring a jumper and some warm socks 🙂
